28/04/06 Site 2 P/woods 21:10   35 12 Daubentons recorded emerging from same tree Difficulty recording all bats as site was very dark. Night vision proposed for next visit
28/04/06 Site 3 P/Mill 20:45 21:40 170 Common Pipistrelles noted entering exit point after Noctules had emerged. Far greater number of bats than thought roosting. Is this the largest (known) roost in the UK?

30/6/06 Site 2 P/woods Nil Nil 0 No bats emerged from tree This is consistent with previous years when young bat were recorded but then the roost appeared to move. Two large 'American style' bat boxes have now been erected onto trees within the woods . It will be interesting to monitor these on our next visits.
30/6/06 Site 3 P/Mill 21:25 22:10 126 Pipistrelles were also noted It would appear that all males have now left. Baby bats were heard within roof void of the Mill.
